Ranked No. One All-Stater and Academic Leader

Sophie, a sophomore at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, TX, began training with Dr. Qian in the CRESCENDO Elite program in the fall of 2024. Under his guidance, she has been consistently challenged to master advanced techniques and repertoire. As a result of her dedication and competitive auditions, she was awarded First Chair and Soloist in the 2025 TMEA 3A All-State Band.

Sophie also serves as the principal B♭ clarinetist in both the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra at her school. She has been recognized as an Outstanding Member of the Trinity Christian Academy music program and currently holds the title of being the youngest student in her band to earn TMEA All-State honors. Additionally, she is an active member of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, performing with the Clarinet Choir (2024-2025).

Beyond her musical achievements, Sophie excels academically as a straight-A student, balancing rigorous coursework with leadership roles. She is the founder and captain of her school’s Science Olympiad team and a founding member of the Future Problem Solvers competition team. She also serves on the admissions committee, regularly performs at memory care facilities with BB19, and is the Manager of Social Media for the Dallas Young Entrepreneur Society.

With a passion for both music and academics, Sophie continues to push boundaries, proving herself as a leader, innovator, and elite young musician.
